Speaking exclusively to this writer, Freddy told me that he consoled Eddie shortly before their holiday unboxing: "Believe me," Freddy quipped, "I know how you feel!" Freddy is currently in his 43rd less-than-stellar follow-up season to his team's championship run, and so seems to know what he's talking about.
Eddie, who has not been seen since the unboxing, could not be reached for comment.
